Defenders of the Earth - September 1986 to May 1987
Set in the year 2050, Defenders of The Earth is a classic 80's series uniting some of the greatest fantasy heroes, Phantom, Mandrake, Lothar, and Flash Gordon .
Together they defend their planet from the evil armada of Ming the Merciless, potentially the most evil and most feared being in the known galaxy.
At times, the Defenders are aided by their offspring: Rick Jones (Son of Flash), Jedda (Daughter of The Phantom), Kshin (Adopted son and apprentice of Mandrake), and Lothar JR. (Son of Lothar)

TThe Raggy Dolls is a 1980s British cartoon series for children, following the adventures of a motley collection of rejects from a toy factory, who live in a reject bin in a toy factory.
The series was produced for Yorkshire Television from 3 April 1986 to 20 December 1994. It was created by Melvyn Jacobson, with scripts, narration and music by Neil Innes. Yorkshire Television produced the first two series of The Raggy Dolls before awarding the commission to Orchid Productions Limited in 1987. This was the first programme Yorkshire Television commissioned from an independent production company, and Orchid Productions went on to produce over 100 more episodes of the series. The initial animator for Yorkshire TV was Roy Evans, and consequently after the move to Orchid Productions Mark Mason took over the role, animating and storyboarding 26 episodes, and storyboarding and directing other animators on a further 26 episodes before moving onto work on other children's shows and being replaced by Peter Hale from the 7th series onwards.
The Raggy Dolls holds the record for the longest running children's series of its genre.
This series featured great animation techniques, more cells and frames, and vivid colours. The result is a very smooth flow of animation. There were only thirteen episodes of the Wuzzles and one of them was released in the theaters. I'm guessing that there was plans for more episodes, but the series didn't make it to the second season.
Just before the series, there was a huge toy line of the Wuzzles released by Disney and Hasbro Bradley. Stuff from plush Wuzzles, posable figures, miniatures, radios, bed sheets, books, clothing, and possibly other stuff. The plush toys were dated back to 1984 and a second set of the Wuzzles were released with six new ones through 1985 to 1986.
She-Ra: Princess of Power is an animated spin-off of the phenomenally popular 1980s series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. It follows the adventures of Princess Adora/She-Ra and the members of the Great Rebellion as they try to free planet Etheria from the evil Horde. The leader of the Horde forces that rule Etheria is Hordak, a sorceror who kidnapped the infant Adora during a failed attempt to conquer He-Man's homeworld years ago. Adora's twin brother Adam/He-Man and his nemesis Skeletor often make guest appearances. Like He-Man, this show was spawned from a line of popular Mattel toys and is still a classic among many fans.

The sitcom was originally conceived by NBC executive Brandon Tartikoff and created by Susan Harris. Tartikoff was visiting his elderly aunt one day, and saw how she and her next-door neighbor, who also was her best friend, interacted with each other. Despite their constant bickering and arguments, they were still the best of friends, and loved each other. He thought that would make a great premise for a TV show. The Golden Girls won several awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series twice. All four stars won at least one Emmy Award throughout the series' entire run.
Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears is an Americananimated television series that aired in the United States in the mid-1980s through the early 1990s. The series was the first animated production by Walt Disney Animation Television, and loosely inspired by the gummi bear candies; Disney CEO Michael Eisner was struck with inspiration for the show when his son requested the candies one day. The series premiered on NBC on September 14, 1985, and aired there for four seasons. The series moved to ABC for one season from 1989–1990, and concluded on September 6, 1991 as part of the Disney Afternoontelevision syndication package. Of the series' 65 shows, 30 were double-features, consisting of two 11-minute cartoons, thereby bringing the series total to 95 distinct episodes overall. The show is well-remembered for its theme music, written by Michael and Patty Silversher.
The series was later rebroadcast on the syndicated Disney Afternoon block, and rerun on the Disney Afternoon through the summer of 1991. In later years, it was shown on the Disney Channel and Toon Disney, with its most recent televised airing occurring on Toon Disney on December 28, 2001. Seasons 1 to 3 of the series were released on DVD on November 14, 2006.
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors - September 1985 to May 1986
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is a French/North AmericananimatedTV show which first aired on September 16, 1985. It was produced by DIC Entertainment (originally distributed for syndication by SFM Entertainment), and animated by Japanese animation studios Sunrise, Shaft, Studio Giants, Studio Look and Swan Production. The show, which spawned 65 thirty-minute episodes, was created to support Mattel's toy line (which was called simply, "Wheeled Warriors"). The show features an ongoing plot; however, like many shows made at the time, it does not have a series finale, and thus the plot was left unresolved.
The show featured two duelling forces. The "good guys" are humans, called the Lightning League. They drive white and silver vehicles with assorted weaponry, and are led by Jayce. The "bad guys" are organic greenvegetable-based creatures called the Monster Minds, who tend to take the shape of black and green vehicles. They travel via large green organic vines which can grow in and across interstellar space, and sprout seeds that rapidly grow into further Monster Minds. They are led by Saw Boss.
